This policy describes how MegaPlay and this support website handle information. The developer responsible for MegaPlay is Gary Crosby. Contact: cr0sby_gar@icloud.com.
Inside the app
MegaPlay does not require an account. The app does not include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs and does not upload your game library or creations to a developer-operated server.
Created projects, imported images and game files, notes, settings, and saved progress are stored locally on your device. The system file picker provides access to files you select. A device-local server is used for game playback; it is not a public service that receives your library.
Files, exports, and backups
When you export or share a project, the file includes its content, settings, and imported artwork. Your selected destination or recipient handles that copy under its own practices. Files and app data may also be included in device or iCloud backups depending on your Apple settings. MegaPlay does not operate its own cloud backup service.
When you contact support
If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use these to answer your request and investigate problems. Support email is handled through Apple iCloud Mail. We do not sell this information or use it for advertising.
We retain support correspondence only as long as needed to resolve the request, maintain relevant support history, or meet legal obligations. You may request its deletion using the contact address above.
This website and external services
This website is hosted by GitHub Pages. GitHub logs visitors’ IP addresses for security purposes and may process request information to operate the website. We do not add advertising trackers, analytics scripts, or tracking cookies to these pages. See GitHub’s Privacy Statement and Apple’s Privacy Policy for their practices.
Apple may process purchases, device backups, and diagnostics under its own settings and policies. Links to external websites are governed by those websites’ privacy policies.
Your choices and deletion
You can delete imported games using their detail screen. Deleting the app removes its local app data; exported copies and backups must be managed separately in their respective locations. We cannot retrieve projects that exist only on your device.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal information, object to processing, and complain to a data protection authority. For information held in support correspondence, contact us. Where applicable, we process support requests to respond to you and pursue our legitimate interest in maintaining the app, and retain records required by law.
Children’s privacy
We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information through the app. If you believe a child has sent personal information to support, contact us so we can address it.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above. Material changes will be communicated where required.
